Our plantations are sited solely on marginal, non-arable land Our trees thrive on non-arable land and so do not compete with food crops that require better quality soil. In this way arable land can be used for food production while marginal land can be used for biofuel feedstock production. We produce only non edible biofuel feedstock oils Most of the world's biofuel is currently produced from edible crops such as soy, rapeseed and palm. By providing a non-edible biofuel feedstock alternative we can relieve the supply and price pressures on edible oils thereby benefitting the poor communities, which cannot afford the high food commodity prices.
